Brooklyn's first tooth

Brooklyn got her first tooth!! It decided to pop through on July 3rd, when she was a little over 6 months old!! I didn't even know she was teething! She is such a great baby and always has a smile on her face. It is so cute to see that little white speck in her mouth:)
It was hard to get a picture of it!

Olivia's first movie

Olivia & I had our first girl's night out together. We went to see Toy Story 3 in 3D at the movie theatre, just the two of us. It was Olivia's first time at a movie theatre and she really enjoyed herself. She sat through the entire movie just enjoying the whole experience!! She loved the fact that she got her very own popcorn, drink, and candy! I can't believe how fast our BABY girl has turned into our LITTLE girl.

Change of Command Ceremony

On June 24th the girls and I had the opportunity to attend a Change of Command ceremony at the School of Infantry where Brian works as an instructor. Brian was actually in the ceremony along with all of the other instructors. It was really neat to see him at work; marching and even carrying his riffle. It took place on what is called the "parade deck" where all formal ceremonies and SOI graduations take place.

Father's Day

On Father's Day last month we had a great day spending time with our family and celebrating Brian's first Father's day having two little girls-one for each arm (lol). He is just crazy about them!! Brian is such a wonderful and loving dad:) Not a day goes by that I don't thank God for him being the husband and father that God made him to be.

We started the day by going to church to celebrate Our Father in heaven. After church, we went home and enjoyed the beautiful weather by playing outside with Olivia. I was excited to take some pictures with my new camera!! Then later that evening, we went out to dinner as a family.

One of Olivia's favorite things to do is play baseball outside with Daddy.

One of Brian's gifts was his favorite book as a child that I purchased off of EBay, because they no longer sell it. He was so surprised when he opened it and has enjoyed reading it to the girls.
